Ascent Trip ReportThis little knoll on the shoulder of the SC HP marks the triple divide of three major river basins. From here:
--Glady Fork and the French Broad River flow north into the Tennessee, Ohio, and Mississippi, reaching the Gulf of Mexico below New Orleans.
--The Saluda River heads east into the Congaree and Santee, reaching the Atlantic near Georgetown SC.
--Eastatoe Creek feeds Lake Keowee, Lake Hartwell and the Savanah, reaching the Atlantic on the SC/GA line.
