Ascent Trip ReportLittle Rich Mountain was once a contender for the Greenville County high point. That's been discredited, but it is still worthy as SC's fourth highest ranked peak, and it also counts on the Eastern Continental Divide list on listsofjohn.com.
I parked at the driveway to the stables for Camp Greenville and bushwhacked through open woods up the ridge. There I found a well-worn path leading east down toward the camp office and Lake Rotary. That would be the preferred route. There's no need to disturb the residents of the Tutherside neighborhood on the southwest side.
Round trip 0.8 miles with 320 feet of climbing.
