Ascent Trip Report

This is the highest point in Berlin but was in the former East Berlin and would have been hard to get to before the wall came down 20 or so years ago. We parked at the lot for the Müggleturm (a tower you can pay to go up and see the surrounding area) and walked up the road. When you get to the top of the road there is a dirt road (gated) to the left. Take this and continue on it until you come to a tarred road. Continue on the tarred road for a couple hundred meters and a sign on the left will point to the trail to follow to the top. The at the top will say "Höchster Berg Berlins 114.8 M" (highest mountain berlin). There is a cement survey marker.
Ended up climbing part of it twice because I forgot the camera that my wife was carrying down by the tar road on the first trip up.
