Ascent Trip Report

We parked in the State Park lot, and hiked up. 2.4 miles up. The trail is excellent, and the hike is worth it! As you get higher you are rewarede with better and better views.
Our Car GPS (Garmin) had the state park in its database, but it is not hard to find anyway. The road up is a bit narrow, but we did it on Labor Day, and found little traffic. You can camp there and there are bathrooms on site. If you source water from here I would bring a water filter, as I think the water comes from a small silo up the trail.
