Ascent Trip Report

This was a fun outing on a day when there was a threat of rain that kept us away from more challenging peaks in the area. We picked a spot nearly half a mile from the summit and parked the truck. We then hiked to the top and enjoyed the view. After hiking back to the truck we decided to drive to the top following a two-track road. This was not a difficult drive in a 4-wheel drive truck. It was a great outing with a county high point less than 20 miles from home.
