Ascent Trip Report

After climbing the Breithorn earlier in the morning, Gottfried Perren and I returned
to the Gandegg Hut after first easily ascending the Klein Matterhorn and traversing the Plateau Rosa to Testa Grigia, where the Breuil-Cervinia cable car terminus is perched on the Italian-Swiss border. Back at the Gandegg Hut by 12:30PM, I rejoined Marilyn for lunch before we walked the short way to the Trockener Steg cable car for the quick descent to Zermatt.
