Ascent Trip Reportafter being lullabied to sleep by hordes of sheep, we hiked up through the herds. that was the nicest part of the day. this is a relatively short, very steep climb of mostly loose rock, when you're not going through brushy stuff. the ascent and descent are equally unpleasant, slipping and sliding around. not my favorite mountain. it took us a lot longer than it should have, mostly because i wasn't feeling well. we could have done it in half the time if i hadn't been dragging butt. |
