Ascent Trip Report Hiked in from the Jett Canyon trailhead for both Mahogany Mountain and Mahogany Mountain East. Brush scraping the car was really bad the last two miles on the way in. Stopped a mile short from the road end to save the paint. Followed the canyon in until I got to the bottom of the sw ridge. It was guesswork to figure out where to exit the canyon. But once you gain the ridge just follow it to the top. It was about a 14 mile day, though I'd hike that extra 1 mile each way next time. If you work it right, you can get Toiyabe Dome West on the same trip, but for me it was to be another Jett canyon day for that (and I was not looking forward to another day in Jett Canyon). Also, looking at it from this viewpoint, doing Toiyabe Dome West with Toiyabe Dome just does not look like a worthwhile venture...
