Ascent Trip Report

Description: This steep trail takes you to the top of the Chino Hills Mountain Range, San Juan Hill, at 1,781'. This is a great trail especially in the spring, when the hills are green, the sky is clear, and the flowers are blooming.

The Trail: Start abruptly by quickly ascending through the grasses. Take frequent breaks on this trail. Go under some hideous electric lines, and make an extremely steep upgrade around the hills You actually pass the hill, but a small side trail takes you to the top of the hill, look carefully behind you for it. It is labeled SAN JUAN HILL. Go to the top, and return the way you came. San Bernardino/Orange County Hiked 4-22-11
