Ascent Trip Report

Found Benchmark this time after 40 minutes on summit searching; added 0.3 mile distance on to trip. Used GPS to zero in on BM AC7624 then had to dig around to find buried BM. Reads: "N.C. Geodetic Survey, Horizontal Control, GPS, CELO KNOB, 1993, Raleigh N.C." Location of BM: N 35° 51.141 W 082° 14.913 (NAD 83). After Celo followed BMRT and bushwack to Percy's Peak, then descent to start via Woody Ridge Trail. BMRT from near Percys Peak to Celo trail junction grown in but relatively easy to follow. Celo trail more of a bushwack than trail.
