Ascent Trip ReportMy first hike with INCH. Super fun group! Found out by surprise that they jog the downhill sections, which added some spice to the trip.
From Monte Bello parking lot, it's pretty much a straight shot to Black Mountain. Summit is marked by an eerie ring-like protrusion of black rocks. Shuli tells me the rocks didn't exist before the last earthquake. Creepy indeed.
