Ascent Trip ReportBusy day on Liberty Bell - at least three parties started before us, and at least four after us on Beckey Route. We got mixed up and cut too early to the left (north) prior to the fork on the climbers trail, bushwhacked in a circle back to the trail start and succeeded to the notch the second time around.
Led pitch 2, a fun chimney. Three hours of climbing following other slower parties. Beautiful, hot, dry day. No snow except in the notch. Very buggy.
Met several other parties on the climb who were very nice. Avoided downclimbing the boulder problem by rapping down a tree to climbers' left to the first set of rap anchors. Ropes got stuck on the second and third raps - watch for knots and pinches in the rock.
