Ascent Trip Report

Hike with Al to all three locations. The one south of Oquaga creek sp was brutal, all thorny bushes and head high bush. It was a tough 1:15 RT, but the swim at the state park after was worth it! We had a lot more fun at the Slawson benchmark. The woods road is quite overgrown after the first 200m. The summit had lots of knee high ferns making the marker tough to find. I surprised both Al and myself by finding it (just lucky). We couldn't find the witness marks but didn't try for very long as we had miles to go before the day was over.
