|Others in Party:||Fellow solo hiker named Jim from Enfield|
|Date:||Sunday, June 9, 2013|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||4480 ft / 1365 m|
Ascent Trip ReportStarted the hike solo, but met a fellow solo hiker named Jim about a mile into the hike. He hiked at a good speed and we hiked together for the remainder of the hike. The water crossings were good. The trail was very gentle and rock free and this mountain is now one of my favorite climbs. At about 3500 feet elevation it started to rain. Unfortunately, there was no view at the summit and it was very windy. We did not stay up there long. There was a lot of people on the trail today and we talked with a lot of them.
