Ascent Trip ReportAn easy dirt road, southbound walk, COMPLETES MY "PA COHP List" AND MY 8TH NORTHEAST STATE. Overall I would say PA is not a difficult State to complete .... it is a beautiful State, we especially loved its unique Amish areas.
With the directions in M Schwartz TR of 2000 I had no trouble getting to the Mill Road TH, located on the ridge (half a mile north of the summit) at the roads left bend, small parking is to one side.
I walked the dirt road south directly to the fenced-in Communication Towers in a large clearing. My high ground was on the west side of the Towers at 41.65740,-77.50328.
I must thank "pioneer/trailblazer" M Schwartz for his excellent TRs and especially/more importantly for getting me to sign-up with the COHP.ORG. I probably wouldn't be County High Pointing in the USA if not for Michael. Where ever I get asked how I got into this ... I blame Michael. Thank you Michael.
"PENNSYLVANIA, PENNSYLVANIA, MAY YOUR FUTURE BE FILLED WITH HONOR EVERLASTING AS YOUR HISTORY." ..... chorus from state's song.
"COMPLETING A PB LIST SIMPLY MEANS THAT SAID LIST IS NO LONGER ON THE PRIORITY LIST."
