Ascent Trip Report

See the majority of info on Lost River Mountain trip report. What follows is after Lost River Peak's summit was made...

Standing on the summit of Lost River Peak we looked to the North and noticed this peak. We didn't know the name of it, but decided we should climb it anyway. We took off on the gradually downhill ridge and within 10 minutes were gaining elevations again to this unknown peak. There was only one slightly sketchy part crossing about a 1 foot wide by 3 foot long saddle followed by a 60 percent up-climb (only about 8 feet tall). Note: The only reason I find this sketchy is due to the loose nature of the rock in this mountain range. We made the summit, enjoyed the view some more, then booked it back to the true Lost River Peak to start our decent before a threatening storm could sock us in.
