Ascent Trip Report

Started hike at about 0745. Ice and snow on trail past the upper steps (el. 5,800 ft.). Glad to the have the Microspikes on the narrow ledges. Took aboutt 2.5 hours to the lodge. High Top summit has large cairn. Went on to Myrtle Point and Cliff Top. Breathtaking views from Myrtle Point on a very clear day. Lots of people on way down Alum Cave Trail.
