Ascent Trip Report

Peak 6 of 8 today.

Struggled with access here as well. I followed earlier reports to the chicken farm and spoke with people there. Access denied (private property). So, I drove around to Plattsburgh Rd and parked at a logging road access (lots of clear cut on that side). The old logging road went right into an old ATV trail and right up to the summit (lucky me).

I thought I had arrived at the summit, but when I double checked my gps coordinates I realized I was 200M short. I continued to follow the atv route and then found the real summit.

I didn't realize I left my gps at the chicken farm, so the route shows the drive around to the east access location rather than my actual hike :-(.
