Ascent Trip ReportWhile serving in the US Navy, attached to Naval Magazine Guam, some mates and I stood atop Mount Lamlam, and looked over Guam in what appeared to be a WWII lookout post. The magazine roads gained us access to an overgrown road. After pushing through the trees, a clearing appeared maybe 150’ below the summit; the truck could go no further. On foot we ascended up using the vegetation holds and lifts.
What a wonderful opportunity I had to sit and ponder the sights and sounds that were seen from this perch from times past. Multiple ascents from 2004-2006.
