Ascent Trip ReportNow that it's Spring, the First Creek Canyon is rapidly filling with fresh new growth on all the brush. Noticeably present now is the abundant grape vine growth, as well as all the other brush that has lain dormant all winter. Progress up the canyon is appreciably slower, and temperatures are quite warm in the canyon. There is still quite a bit of water running over the falls and in several pools.
