Ascent Trip ReportI was spending a week in Phoenix so decided to climb Camelback, not realizing that it was so popular. I rode my bike about 15 miles to the mountain and finally found the trail head. I couldn't believe all the people on the trail, seemed like hundreds. There were a few trail runners so I decided to try running as much of it as possible (mostly downhill). Of course all the people made it harder but most of them happily moved out of the way. It is a very rocky trail, as well as steep, so that was the worst part, it really took a lot of concentration to run safely, but it was a fun challenge.
