Ascent Trip ReportInstead of the usual route to the TH up Rocky Gap Road from Willow Springs in Red Rock, we drove up Lovell Canyon Road and turned onto Rocky Gap Road from the southern end point. The road is in much better shape here until you reach a huge wash out area called the "Rock Garden". You must stop before you reach this point unless you have an extreme off-road vehicle. Hike up Rocky Gap until you reach the traditional TH for Bridge Mountain. The rest of the route is well marked and documented elsewhere. |
