Ascent Trip ReportI hiked Mount Lemmon from Catalina State Park via the Sutherland and Mount Lemmon Trails. The trail disappeared in heavy brush and wildfire debris on a rocky ridgeline at about 7400-7600 ft. and I had to follow the route by rock cairns and old flagging tape. I lost the route at one point, but soon regained it on the ridge crest. I rarely hike a new route without a map, but had none this time and really missed it. I encountered some snow on the Sutherland Trail just before the Mount Lemmon Trail junction and above.
