Ascent Trip Report

After hiking in the rain the day before all day, i was anxious to get some excercise in the sunny weather and the "climb" up the CHP - Chestnut Hill was far too quick and easy, so I was desperate for an additional exploration. The campus and city are quite attractive with historic buildings and expensive stone houses, so I venutred up the driveway to some additional historic looking stone structures that are part of the campus.

About half way up I noticed a sign that said private property which I presume means that it is a private school and they do not want the lovely grassy grounds cluttered with vagrants....but how could one descide if you want your kid to attend this campus without seening the facilities up close? and I am quite sure I would not qualify as a vegrant, so I continued respectuflly up the winding driveway. Seeing nobody around to explain to me what these facilties had to do with the campus and offer me a tour, I stepped up to the very obvious pinnacle that would be the "summit" of this feature and headed back down. I passed a security vehicle on the way down who did not seem to find my solo campus tour objectionable as I descended back from where I began.
