Ascent Trip Report

Of the two highpoints the one at the courthouse if far more interesting so I spent more time there. Getting there rainy and dark. Sunrise did not occur till around 7:30 AM so I was dissapointed I could not enjoy the views of the countryside as the country roads appeared to be hilly winding and open - bummer!

I got to the town of Owenton and it is an old historic town. I enjoy poking around more normally; but this morning it was still raining and still dawn. I tool photos of old courthouse and jail and walked around in the rain with my suit and jacket hoping they would dry in time for meeting later that morning in Cincinnati.

Courthouse and jailhouse pretty interesting
