Ascent Trip Report

Simon and I both had bikes this time; this was a training trip for our Europe and Africa expedition; started early and biked to where N/S Twin logging rds branch--made deposit of climbing and overnight gear and continued by bike to end of rd on N Twin where we hid bikes; scrambled up W ridge-always a joy and soloed the oblisk en route (5.7, but can avoided on right at Class 2+); managed 2 hours on summit including a little sleep; raced down-fast-by bike, gathered gear and camped beside road and creek toward S Twin for an early morning start to that peak
