Ascent Trip ReportA road hike ..... 1.5 miles, 45 minutes RT
We left I24, exit 7A, drove north on Fish Ranch Road and found our way to the junction of Grizzly Peak Road and Lomas Cantadas ( just east of the TH for Chaparral Peak) and drove on Lomas Cantadas to an immediate left on the signed Tilden Regional Park Entrance. We stayed right 200 yards to a locked gate and a TH Parking on the left which was half full.
I walked through the man-way in the gate and followed the paved road as it climbs/winds north to the summit at about .75 miles, capped with a large Communication Tower. A beautiful area.
