Ascent Trip ReportA dirt track up the north slopes of the mountain ....
We got off of Bayshore Blvd at Old County Road (south of Guadalupe Canyon Pkwy) and found our way south, through the maze of streets in the City of Brisbane, to the very top end of Margaret Rd/Paul Ave. A number steep roads to deal with.
We parked here at the start of a dirt track, this was my TH.
I climbed the dirt track south as it zig-zags up the slope to the ridge, then left on the Ridge Trail to the summit, beyond the 3 Power Transmission Towers (less than 1 mile) ..... a large cairn marks the spot, a 2 Mile Marker for the Ridge Trail is just before the summit.
The whole mountain is void of any trees, so outstanding views are available throughout the climb.
