Ascent Trip ReportStarted 2013 off with a hike! Up Dripping Springs Trail to Palomar Divide. Someone has cleared out MUCH of this trail and there was absolutely no bushwhacking, save for the quick 1/2 mile ascent to the summit of Agua Tibia. Then back through the buckthorn to the Palomar Divide Trail, where we continued on to the Crosley Saddle. EVERYTHING was clear - very open. 10 mile descent down the beautiful Wild Horse Trail - again, the trail was remarkably clear and maintained. Not sure how long this will last - especially on the Palomar divide.. but it was great. We left the TH at 6:45 am, and my group was back by 4. Great hike! Went with SoCal hikers and Peakbaggers, lead by Jill. Happy New Year!
