Ascent Trip Report

Parked in village opposite church at the end of the Rue de Calais. The car park and its flower bed commemorated members of the resistance. Struck up steep farm track behind the car. Everything clearly matching your mapping. The lat/long position given did not appear to be at the highest point. Despite the name, there was no evidence of a windmill. Local walkers had no knowledge of it or the fact that the department high point was there. It is likely that ploughing has removed or buried any marker that may have been there. Pleasing extensive views. Other points on the ridge appeared to be of similar elevation.
