Ascent Trip Report***Sierra Club Outing*** led by Stella Cheung, Jim Fleming
Stella's 0-2 provisional trip. On the first day we backpacked up the San Bernardino Peak Divide Trail (out of Angelus Oaks) to the Limber Pines Bench Campground and set up camp with our water source from the nearby Limber Pine Springs. Mileage about 5.75 mi with 3,500' gain. Trail is well maintained and in excellent shape.
Day 2 we summited Washington Monument, San Bernardino Peak and East San Bernardino Peak and returned to camp - mileage about 6 mi RT w/ 1,600' gain. Once in camp we packed up and out. Mileage and gain is estimated for entire trip. |
