Ascent Trip Report

Took spray-painted High Point trail up from Rt 219. Trail easy to follow with a few new red wood signs to help lead the way. Visited Marker #3 on the MD/WV border. Summit fogged in but no rain. Signed summit register in mailbox and headed down. Nice forest but heard road noise and logging throughout the hike. Also logging clearing near summit as well made for a less than pristine location.
