Ascent Trip Report

#5 of 12 today

I read a few other TR's on this one and have the following notes. No need to follow the old logging road - stay on the AT instead. The logging road is very washed out and has a lot of down trees now. Probably slower going. Also, the peak is ~200M off the AT, not 30 like mentioned in another report. There is a false peak ~30M off the trail - keep going. The woods are open and bushwhacking is easy here.
