Ascent Trip ReportWas out looking for geocaches on a hot hot summers day and decided to climb the nearest peak while I was there anyway.
I started NW of the peak and made it over the mountain via a path from a restaurant by Via Aurelia. From there the path was partly maintained. From Monte Moneglia I decided to walk through the bushes towards my next geocache because this route would be much shorter!
I wanted to look for one final geocache but decided it would be too long a detour and instead walked down to Moneglia to take the train back through the mountain to the other side where I came from!
GPS track does not cover the entire route but only from roughly around the summit - where I turned on the tracking app on my phone - and down to Moneglia. |
