Ascent Trip Report

Took the approach from VT-109 near Roaring Brook. The gate was open, so I drove up. Talked to a lumberjack working there, he said access was no problem but I'd have to park by the road as he locks the gate when no one is there. I followed the road until about 1800 feet, then bushwhacked WNW until hitting the ridge. I headed for the peak at this point, but it did feel weird as I felt I was sidehilling most of the time instead of heading straight up the ridge. Not too difficult of a bushwhack. Up and down in 3h50m.
