Ascent Trip ReportLeaving late from Walla Walla, didn't get started at the McCully Creek trailhead until a little after noon. Walked the McCully Creek trail up the valley until just before the trail crosses the creek. At a right-facing switchback, left the trail and bushwhacked up the low slopes of "Aneroid Mountain North," as the site calls it. Used a GPS to aim for the main saddle point on the ridge between Aneroid and Aneroid Mountain North, which is not visible until you're within about a kilometer.
From the saddle, walked the ridge south until standing on the summit of Aneroid around 5 pm. Back at the trailhead around 8:30.
