Ascent Trip Report

Overcast day, calling for 60% chance of rain. Started out okay, but about 3/4 the way up the fog rolled in and 400 m. from the top, we began getting intermittent showers. Clearing the tree line, it was breezy and chilly. I was glad to have brought some warmer gear up with me. The hut at the summit was too crowded, so the two of us took shelter from the rain in the outhouse !

A 3-hour climb up and because we had an injured party with us (knee stress), it took 3 hours to descend the same route. As such, I didn't do the "Tour de Mont Albert" route this time, which would have added another 5 km to the hike; will leave that for a future trip.
