Ascent Trip Report

This was a four day Sierra Peaks Section trip led by Norm Rohn and Ret Moore; the climb started and ended at the Pine Creek Trailhead and the group went over Pine Creek Pass to climb Four Gables, Pilot Knob, Royce Peak and Merriam Peak. On the third day of the trip, the group hiked from Puppet Lake up the drainage to Alsace Lake, then climbed up to the saddle located east of the peak, then followed the peak's class 2 east ridge to the top. Also, trip stats are for all four ascents.
