Ascent Trip Report

From South Lake, Bob and I day hiked up the trail and then cross country to the uppermost Treasure Lake, then climbed to the top of Treasure Col using an ice ax and crampons. From the col, we ascended the class 2 southeast slope of Mount Gilbert to its summit, then dropped back down to Treasure Col, then ascended the class 3 north ridge of Mount Johnson to its summit. Later, we returned to the col and then back to the vehicle. Trip stats include an ascent of Mount Johnson.
