Ascent Trip Report

This was the third day of a seven day backpack trip to climb four peaks located along the John Muir Trail. From the JMT located south of Sapphire Lake, Bob Wyka and I climbed up the south side of the peak's west shoulder and then up a chute to the ridge, which we followed to the summit.
