Ascent Trip ReportOn day one, John and I drove up to the trailhead from Los Angeles, picking our permit up along the way, then backpacked up to Mahogany Flat, where we set up camp. On day two, we backpacked over Shepherd Pass and then over to our camp located about 1/2 miles southeast from the pass. On day three, John and I climbed the peak via Williamson Bowl and its class 3 West Face Route, returned to camp, then backpacked over Shepherd Pass and down to Anvil Camp, where we spent the night. On day four, we backpacked out to the vehicle, then drove back to LA.
