Ascent Trip Report

First peak of our 2012 road trip. We took the wrong road up from Red Butte. Best route is M2 to M22 as discussed in Eric Kassan's report, which I forgot to print and bring along. The DeLorme atlas shows a good road leading up: Coylear Springs Rd to Raglin Ridge Rd. Well, it sucked, especially in the Yaris. I had a map, so it worked out, but much bumpier than I thought. We camped at "Browns Camp" and enjoyed a great night under the stars. The next morning we were up early and off to the summit. The route is straightforward and there are no problems with brush or trees for this short hike. An easy P4k! Pics
