Ascent Trip Report

Mt. Eisenhower is now my second favorite mountain to climb, behind Mt. Osceola. The trail was a moderate, steady grade with no real treacherous or daunting parts. Once at the summit, I chose to complete the Eisenhower Loop rather than head back down. It was a very hot, humid day and I while I felt great during the ascent, I felt very sick on the way down. I felt much better after my usual pit-stop at the Exit 32 McDonalds though.
