Ascent Trip ReportEasy 5 mile RT hike from the TH for Jeff Davis Peak, near the summit of Blue Lakes Road. Faint 2-track road fades to single track horse trail to the pass between Jeff Davis and Markleeville Pk. After that the paths are faint use trails - keep to the right as you ascend to the first high point to the north. This will put you on the ridge to the summit.
Volcanic peak of primarly andesite, with some waterlaid sedimentary volcanics and granite erratics. Nice views.
