Ascent Trip Report

Drove to Burley Hill Rd, then back north on New City Rd, and took a right on Sears rd. A short distance up the road, you pass a house, then the road turns to dirt. I followed it up, and then took a right where an arrow indicated "ower ->". I guessed the "T" was missing and was correct. The dirt road lead to a parking area at a tower. A logging road continued from there, but I parked at the tower. Follow the logging road in along the ridge, and then bushwhack the final section.

This hike reminded me of why I like winter hiker so much more than summer hiking: Prickers, Poison Ivy and deer flys... The final bushwhack was pricker hell. Stay east of the ridge, fewer prickers.
