Ascent Trip Report

Drove up on the standard road. The road is a bit rough and would be passable for a passenger car but not recommended. If I still drove my Accord, I would have tried it, and I would have made it, but I would have been nervous about it. Very flat up top with some views. Could be a car camping spot if not super windy and no lightning. There's a small tower, maybe a radio repeater on top. Seems to take forever to drive to this peak. We came in from Lewiston via the Wenatchee Guard Station, which might as well be in freaking Wenatchee, and exited out towards the Grande Ronde in Oregon so as to then drive back through WA to our hotel in Oregon. So many twisty windy roads. Loooong. Well, at least the Grande Ronde canyon is rather pretty.
