Map: 1:25k: 3231OT
Stats: 280mH, 5km
Time: 23 Aug 06, ascent 0:50, descent 0:35
Start: from SW, limited parking at track entrance 2km N of
Innimond, 20km NW of Belley
Route: Track through farmland then forest, joining waymarked GR route leading to summit
Difficulties: direct descent steep and a little loose, avoidable.
Trig point: 15cm block of ?limestone, small + in centre, in meadow at highest point.
Notes: the second of five easy "P600" summits in the area, which I visited in a single day.
Pleasant walk, gappy view limited by trees, summit meadow has colourful colony of Carthusian Pink. Tracks muddy in places. Steep part of climb can be avoided by detour via bridleway to pt 1143m. Mapped shortcut path across pasture near start, disappears into scrub – keep to main track.
