Ascent Trip ReportWent up this one looking for the cool beard guy who I wanted a picture of for my high school photography class. This was during the Wasatch Front 100 mile race and he was one of the participants. I was working at the rest/food/aid station at Desolation Lake with my buddy Keith. I didn't catch up to him - he was in a race and I am not fast enough, but I got up the ridge and didn't want to go downhill towards Silver (which I didn't know was so close...), so I topped out and grabbed a few pics from the top. Gain is calculated from the TH, since technically I walked to Desolation Lake then eventually headed up this peak. |
