Ascent Trip Report

I hiked up Cannon Mountain on 6/10/12 with one of my friends. The weather was beautiful; there were almost no clouds, the temperature was just right, and the wind was relatively calm. The views were great, too. The trail we used, the Kinsman Ridge Trail, was steeper than I remembered, and was wet and muddy in spots. After we summited, we went to the tramway station for some lunch. We each got a ham and cheese wrap and some chips; they tasted great after that hike up the mountain. There also appeared to be some sort of bicycle race going on. As we descended, that was when hikers started to show up; when we ascended, there were no hikers. Overall, it was a great hike, and definitely better than my last hike of Cannon.
