Ascent Trip ReportHiked up to Bean Creek basin on day one and spent the day doing ice ax arrest practice and other roped skills. Left camp at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, following our students. Summit at 8:00 a.m. The snow was extremely hard, good for crampon technique. Steepness was enough that students could actually use low and high dagger techniques. |
